Emotional health and physical health are dependant on one another--no matter how devoted you are to a proper diet and lifestyle, your body won’t reach its optimal state if it is not emotionally well. Emotional barriers will block your path to wellness if you don’t resolve the underlying stresses and anxieties behind them.
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), a form of psychological acupressure, is an easy and extremely effective tool to help you with emotional challenges. I commonly recommend it to resolve negative emotions, reduce food cravings, reduce or eliminate pain and implement positive goals.
The technique involves a combination of tapping on your body’s energy meridians while voicing positive affirmations. This will repair the "short-circuit"--the emotional block--that is disrupting your body’s flow of electromagnetic energy and will help to restore balance to both your mind and body.
Many people are initially wary of (or amused by) this suggestion. I urge you to try the method for yourself. Whether your specific problem is a traumatic event, an addiction, a pain or so on, EFT works better than any other traditional or alternative method I have used or researched.
